Refund Policy – AutoHueLab Automotive Refinishing At AutoHueLab, we don’t just paint cars — we restore pride, detail by detail. Whether you came to us for a full-body respray, custom colorwork, or scratch correction, your satisfaction is central to our craft. We treat every vehicle like a canvas, and every client like a long-term partner. But if something goes wrong, our refund policy is here to back that commitment with clarity and fairness. Where Refunds Apply We’re confident in our precision — but if a job falls below our promise, we’ll make it right. You may be eligible for a refund or corrective service in these situations: A clear and visible flaw in the paintwork directly resulting from our process (e.g., uneven coat, mismatched shade, peeling finish). A confirmed mistake in the service performed (e.g., wrong color applied, incorrect panel sprayed). Billing errors, such as double charges or services added without approval. You cancel a scheduled service more than 48 hours in advance of your appointment. In these cases, we will offer a refund, partial credit, or complimentary rework — based on the severity and scope of the issue. When Refunds Are Not Available As a service-based studio working with physical materials and customized prep work, we do not offer refunds in the following cases: You changed your mind after the service was completed and approved. The color looks different due to lighting conditions or personal taste, but matches the selected code or sample. The surface issue (e.g., corrosion, dents) was underlying and not disclosed prior to painting. You arrived late or missed your appointment without notice, causing loss of prep time. You modified the car after service and now claim the finish is compromised. We welcome all feedback — but final finishes are confirmed and signed off before pickup. That protects both sides. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance are fully refundable. Cancellations under 48 hours may result in a prep fee being retained, especially if materials were custom-mixed. No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable due to labor and booth scheduling. Rescheduling is always better than cancelling — just give us a call and we’ll work it out. How to Request a Refund or Repaint Reach out to us with: Your full name and invoice number Photos of the issue (taken in natural light if possible) A short description of the concern and how you’d like it resolved Our senior team will personally review each case and respond within 3 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be returned to your original payment method, and we may schedule a re-inspection to confirm. Respecting the Work, Honoring the Trust AutoHueLab is not a high-volume spray shop — we’re a craftsmanship studio. That means we take your concerns seriously, but also expect mutual honesty. Attempting to obtain a refund after signing off on a completed job, or filing exaggerated claims, may result in declined requests or loss of service eligibility. Final Finish Paint is permanent — and so is our reputation. If something went off-tone, off-center, or off-track, we’ll make it right.
